Kigo Thierry
The technical principle is unique and KIGO offers unsurpassed thermal power.

Contrary to the KIGO approach, most of the radiant panels available on the market are composed of tubes and fins. Water flows in the tubes fixed on a conductive aluminium profile (fin). The low contact surface area between the tube and the fin limits considerably the heat transfer and creates a temperature gradient in the fin. The temperature on the exterior of the fin is at a higher (resp. lower) temperature than the temperature of the water in the tube.

In order to reach an average surface temperature (Tm) or an equivalent power level with « tubes with fins » systems, the heat carrying liquid (water) will need to circulate at a lower temperature in cooling and higher temperature in heating mode that it does through the KIGO climate panel network. Hence, such « tubes with fins » systems will lead to higher energy consumption through the life of the network. KIGO saves energy and money!

Thanks to its original geometry (made of alternating cushions) across the surface of each panel, the contact with the exchange surface (95 %) is almost perfect. This assures an unsurpassed heat transfer coefficient!

Temperature uniformity leads to  real energy savings.

Traditional pulsed air heating creates air movement. KIGO climate panels, however, directly heat walls, floors, people. The temperature is even across the height of the room. Air heater generate a temperature gradient of 1.5-2 K/m while KIGO panels produce only 0,2 K/m.

The difference is huge! This clearly affects energy consumption and costs. It is even more evident in industrial hall and warehouses. The temperature gradient of pulsed air systems causes tremendous heat losses.

These losses are due to the considerable difference between outdoor and indoor temperature. Warm air is literally sucked out of the hall.

TESTIMONIAL

"For our new testing hall built in 2014 and with a volume of 70’000m3, we only installed 220 kW of heating power (440 kW had been originally planned). The energy consumption in this building is at the same level as one of our halls with a volume of 26’000 m3 using traditional forced air system with similar insulation."

Full irrigation thanks to the panel design.

Thanks to their exceptional thermal exchange capacity, the specifically designed panels made by ENERGIE SOLAIRE SA are used successfully for multiple non-solar applications, particularly as climate panels used to heat and cool various buildings.

KIGO exchangers are made of two thin stainless-steel plates stamped in repeating square patterns (cushions).

The cushions of the back sheet are set off half a pass towards the cushions of the front sheet. This allows homogeneous full irrigation in between both sheets.

Both sheets are spot welded together and peripheral welding ensures the tightness of the heat exchanger.

THE QUALITY OF THE THERMAL EXCHANGER – IT’S THE KEY TO KIGO PANELS’ SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE.

KIGO radiant climate panels imitate the sun; they radiate directly on surfaces (people and objects) as you wish and where you wish. No more unpleasant air movement, allergen dust and noise related to classic HVAC installations. The best climate system is the one we forget about.

You simply enjoy a comfortable environment.
